The family of late singer Michael Jackson has filed court documents indicating they plan to seek a new trial in a wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG, after a Los Angeles jury cleared the company of liability in October. Katherine Jackson and the singer's three children Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, sued AEG Live over Jackson's 2009 death at age 50 in Los Angeles from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol given to the pop star by his then doctor, Conrad Murray. The wrongful death lawsuit claimed the concert promoter had acted negligently by hiring Murray as Jackson's personal physician, but a jury concluded Murray was sufficiently qualified for his job. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for Jackson's death and served half of his four-year sentence in a Los Angeles prison. Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS) If all goes as planned, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, whose latest film "The Wolf of Wall Street" releases in India on Christmas day, may visit the country's entertainment capital in the first month of the new year. "His visit is likely to be a part of a different strategy, by way of which the "Titanic" star will meet some of India's promising entrepreneurs," a source from the film's distribution team in India, told IANS. The film follows the real life story of Jordan Belfort's rise to a wealthy stockbroker to his fall due to use of fraudulent methods. The dozen or so items come from a collection owned by Fawcett's nephew Greg S. Walls and are expected to fetch tens of thousands of dollars, according to Heritage Auctions.
