She did films like 'Ishq Ishq Ishq' (1974) with Dev Anand, 'Saajan Bina Suhagan' with Rajendra Kumar and 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' with Shashi Kapoor. She was introduced in the film 'Thodi Si Bewafai' with Rajesh Khanna and Shabaza Azmi as a grown up actress. From then on she worked in many more films and became one of the leading ladies of the industry.
