Sonu Sood is originally from Punjab and did his schooling there as well. He shifted to Nagpur to do his Electronic Engineering and simultaneously did small fashion shows.He moved to Delhi since he got interested in modelling. While he was in Delhi, he did a couple of modelling assignments. It was there that he participated in Mr. India.
However, after a while modelling lost its charm for him and he decided to move to Mumbai. After moving to Mumbai, he started acting in Telugu films. He still continues to do Telugu films along side hindi films. He debuted with "Bhagat Singh" playing the lead character, followed by a role in "Yuva". He was appreciated and noticed for his role and since then there have been several films coming his way.
