Vashu started his production company, Puja Films in 1996 with Coolie No.1. The film was a major success and was followed by more successes like hero No.1, Pyar kiya To Darna Kya, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Biwi No.1, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai and others. The latest film released under his belt was "Out of Control".
