Vijay Kumar, a graduate from Film and Television Institute of India has been in the field of film making since the last 14 years. While at the institute at Pune he specialised in editing and in his one and a half decade long carrier as a film maker he has made over 80 short films and edited over a 100 films.
He won the President's National award as best director for his very first film 'Inner Instincts', a documentary on Juvenile Delinquents. His documentaries have also won acclaim in spectrum India and the Bombay International Film Festival for the best documentary of the decade.
His venture into the world of feature filmmaking has been his long cherished desire. His editing skills combined with his art of story telling and his distinct style of picturising songs have won him the reputation as one of the finest filmmakers among the film making fraternity.
