In fact, 10 percent of us think Harvey Weinstein was Jimmy Stewart's imaginary rabbit friend (in the movie "Harvey," for whatever percent didn't know that).

But those in and around the circles of Hollywood know the name of Harvey Weinstein extremely well. Weinstein is one of the most powerful producers in the business, a man who inspires both fear and respect as he approaches the soul-crushing wheeling and dealing of the industry with the predatory instincts of an underdog who will never stop feeling like he's got something to prove. He's got a reputation for being rough and ill-tempered, but as the guy who owns the last two winners of the Oscar for Best Picture (and several more over the course of his decades-long career), he's also known as someone who's really, really good at his job.

We did some due diligence and seem to have zeroed in on the issue -- though the case on this couture mystery can only be closed if Lawrence's dress tailor, stylist Rachel Zoe, Dior or Lawrence herself explain what really happened.

Because, walking down the red carpet with her from our comfy couches, it's like we're experiencing the events for the first time all over again through her eyes. She's fresh. She's irreverent. She's unexpected. She can wear a frock – but she refuses to be worn by it.
We should have known from her first Oscar race for that gritty little indie "Winter's Bone" that she had the potential to surprise us. Sure, she played Ree, a straightforward, tough as rehab, meth cooker’s daughter who could kill and eat squirrel without flinching. But, then, when it came time to hit the red carpet, she learned fast. She had poise to burn. She went from grungy flannels to couture. On the big day when the then 20-year-old strode down the 2011 Academy Awards red carpet filling out that Calvin Klein red maillot gown, the whole tired, jaded enterprise perked up and took notice. It was as if she was saying, "this may be old for you, Hollywood, but not for me. It’s my party and I’ll enjoy it if I want to."

19th Annual SAG Award winner Anne Hathaway (Photo: John Shearer/Invision/AP)Hot on the heels of Saturday night's Producers Guild Awards comes the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, held Sunday at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The ceremony set the stage for the Academy Awards by honoring several of the actors considered to be frontrunners for winning Oscars exactly four weeks from tonight.

Daniel Day-Lewis took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his immersive portrayal of the 16th President of the United States in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln." While "Argo" has emerged as the frontrunner to win the Oscar for Best Picture after last night's PGA win, "Lincoln" certainly has the edge in the Best Actor category.
