  • Jodie Foster stuns with confessional Golden Globes speech

Delivering a rambling and confessional speech, Jodie Foster, honored for the Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement in film at the 70th Annual Golden Globes, addressed rumors that she is a lesbian. She said, “I’m just going to put it out there, loud and proud, right? I am…single. I’m kidding.”

She added, seriously, “I came out a long, long time ago.” She added that did her coming out to friends a long time ago (though not in a public forum), acknowledged she had a female partner when she thanked Cydney Bernard, who she also called out as the co-parent of their children.

  • Taylor Swift called out for reaction to Golden Globes loss

Taylor Swift hit a sour note at the Golden Globes this evening.

The pop country crooner, who was up for Best Original Song for her tune “Safe and Sound” recorded for "The Hunger Games, was called out for her bad reaction – on camera – when she didn’t win.

The award went instead to Adele, for her ballad, “Skyfall,” for the James Bond movie of the same name. Twitter quickly heated up, with comments on Yahoo! scolding Swift for being a sore loser.

On Yahoo! live chat, the commenter Impressive_girl posted,
“Taylor Swift needs to learn what it means to be a gracious loser. She's officially gets the award for this year's ‘Elton John’ moment. “

Yahoo! writer Jason Sickles added, "Someone needs to teach Taylor Swift the McKayla thing!" The singer is officially on notice to practice her poker face.

Swift wasn't the only one caught looking less than pleased on camera, as Tommy Lee Jones wasn't cracking up at Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig's presentation.

  • Salma Hayek and Paul Rudd won’t be getting any awards for smooth presentations. The two stars got caught in an moment during a technical glitch at the 70th annual Golden Globes.

The two were tasked with handing out the award for best actor in a TV series.

The “Savages” star introduced the nominees, including Bryan Cranston for “Breaking Bad” and Damian Lewis for “Homeland,” saying, “They drink, they do drugs, they like they have a huge ego, and they are not to be trusted.”

Paul Rudd chimed in, “But uh, that’s just their agents.” Boom! Except…silence. The zing of that line went totally bust. Memo to the Golden Globe writers: Agent jokes apparently don’t play well with this crowd.

But a bad joke goes over better than no lines at all. As the camera came back to the pair, who were then to read off the nominees for best TV drama, the two simply looked confused, and said nothing as the teleprompter failed to roll.

    Finally Rudd, with

  • Anne Hathaway’s unusual shoe demands

Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway was willing to do a lot for her role as Fantine in "Les Miserables": She chopped off her hair, lost 25 pounds, and even sang. But she would not wear leather shoes.

The actress is vegan and asked the costume designer to make her footwear animal free as well.

Costume designer Paco Delgado, who used all custom footwear on the set, had special shoes for the star. "[Hathaway]'s vegan, so we couldn't use any animal materials on the shoes for her character Fantine," he told Footwear News. "We had to find very specific shoemakers to create lace-up boots and ankle boots."

Hathway isn't the only star with unusual demands on set. Nicole Kidman declined to use a racial slur written in the "Paperboy" script, despite the director's insistence. The period melodrama set in Florida, about a journalist and a murder, called for the actress to hurl the N-word at a black co-star. Kidman would not.

Director Lee Daniels expressed his bafflement at her decision. Speaking at a press
