Let's talk about your film Kaash Mere Hote. What type of film is it? What is the subject and story line of the movie?
Film is very young. There are three leads in the movie i.e. Me, Sana Mirza and Sahil. I and Sahil are the couple in the film and Sana who is the second girl in the film tries to come between us and she feels that whatever feelings she has got for Sahil in the film is love but its just infatuation. So that is why we have tried to send a message that teenage attraction is not love. She is a teenager in the film, she is younger to us but the way she behaves with Sahil, you won't know the difference between a matured lady and her. So basically it's a triangle love story with a little tinge of evil to it.
What kind of character are you playing in this film?
There is nothing so great in my character accept for the fact that she is a love interest of Sahil and whatever Sahil does in the film she always supports him; she stands by him no matter what. And when Sana comes in between she never doubts her guy. So she is very supportive. She is very young and a good Indian girl who is standing by her guy all time.
If we talk about your film 'Lucky', Salman was opposite you and if we talk about Sahil, he is a totally new comer. So what difference did you make out between both the actors while shooting?
Obviously when I was shooting with Salman Khan I was been taught many things. And with Sahil I feel as new as he does because I am not with too many films down. Till now there have been only 2 films of mine released. There is a huge difference between Sahil and Salman obviously. Salman always used to tell me what to do and teach me and explain it to me and advise me. And Sahil is like this boy who doesn't know anything about this industry and follow his director. So there is a huge difference.
There are many films based on triangle love stories. So what is so different in this film because the audiences always want to see something new in the films when they go to watch movies?
There is only one thing which is very different in this movie i.e. it's got a little evil touch to this film. There is something wrong with the feeling of the film. It's not a basic love story. In this there are three people and a usual triangle thing but there is a little curiosity to the film because the other girl has got some kind of a power that we are trying to show through the film and hopefully it works.
When you started with the first film of your career 'Lucky', you were welcomed to the industry as you had Aishwarya's look alike face. What do you think about it?
Honestly when 'Lucky' got released I was a small girl. I was just 16 years old. I didn't know much about films. I didn't know what is right and what is wrong. So I took quite a few bad decisions and showed bad attitude as well. I didn't have a right guidance so that's the reason I took a long break from bollywood. I thought I will get matured first so that might work out. I feel the way I was introduced in Lucky nobody can ask for anything more than that. I still think I was very young and if I get a chance to redo I would definitely think again. I am 22 years old and right now I think I will get a perfect film which will launch me again but that time I was too young.
You have been compared with Aishwarya Rai. What would you like to say?
Earlier I used to get angry a lot but now I am used to it. I don't think it's a nice thing. Not for me, for me it's a very good thing because I have been compared to the Indian beauty. But I think she will feel very insulted. That's why I feel that it should be stopped.
As you told us that you took a long break from bollywood, so do you think in your future films you are ready to face it as you said you have learnt many things?
In south I have done 2 to 3 films in the last 1 year and I have learnt a lot from there. I have learnt professionalism; I have even learnt how to become a perfect actress. I hope that what films I do now in bollywood, they take me to a certain place. Kaash Mere Hote was completed quite a long time back i.e. 2 years ago. But the films I am going to sign now, I hope and pray that it does something for me.
If we talk about Shravan, every one knows that Nadeem Shravan's music is better. So do you think that the audience will feel it's a musical film?
Yes, definitely it's a musical film. I think Sanjeev and Darshan have done an amazing job. The music is amazing and I think that's going to be the USP of the film and it's a new come also, so I feel it's going to do well.
Apart from music what are the other USP's you see in this film?
There is one thing in this film I can't say, that's from Sana's point of view. It's got a little graphic in the film so I think that may do something for the film. But honestly I think that it's only music which will make people watch this film.
Apart from this which are the other projects you got? Would you like to share it with us?
I don't have many because I have just started to the sign the films. I have finished with Sangeet Shivam's 'Click' which will release in November end. I am doing an Ashok Tyagi film with Akshay Kapoor which might get released by end of this year.
As you know that there is a strike on senior artistes' depreciation and their different wants, what is your view on that?
No comments. Joh hai woh hai. It's not going to make any kind of difference to whatever I say.
What do you think that the wants they are asking for, will they be granted? What is your comment on this? Don't you think that there is a lot of loss for bollywood in it?
I feel that every day the industry has some or the other loss. I think that's why bollywood is bollywood. But I honestly wouldn't want to comment and say anything because I don't know much about what is happening so it would be better if you leave it to whatever it is.
