What is the film 'Dhoondthe Reh Jaaoge' all about?

'Dhoonthe Reh Jaaoge' in a nut shell is a fun ride. It is a comedy movie. It is a story which revolves around two main characters, Paresh Rawal and me.

You are playing Anand Pawar who is one of the main characters in 'Dhoonthe Reh Jaaoge'. What is the character all about?

Ananad Pawar belongs to a lower middle class family. He is very honest. He is very low on self esteem and self confidence. He stammers while talking. His honesty is like an obstacle for him and this is the reason why he had to change five jobs in three years. He is in such a state where he owes money to people and is not even able to pay off his house rent. Meanwhile he also thinks he might loose his love interest i.e. Soha as he is not able to support her. Destiny brings me and Paresh Rawal together and how we try to go out of the box to move out of the crises. We make a movie and how we work to cast the characters and make the movie is the journey of 'Dhoonthe Reh Jaaoge'.

How was it working with Paresh Rawal?

This is my first encounter working with Paresh Rawal except for a brief role I had played as a child in the movie 'Tamanna'. I have been a great admirer of him and I think he is a fabulous actor. I was very happy when I heard he would also be a part of the movie because when one works with a nice actor in one scene, it enhances your acting as well. It was a pleasure working with him.

And what about Sonu Sood?

I have never worked with him before. I have known him through this film. He is a very good human being and an ace actor. He has done a good job in the film.

'Dhoonthe Reh Jaaoge' is Omesh Shukla's debut film. How was your experience working with him?

Omesh and I go a little back in time. He is from theatres. He has written a lot of Hindi films. In theatres, he has written and directed a lot of plays. I met him during my college days when I used to do theatres. After that we met for this movie ' Dhoonthe Reh Jaaoge'. When he narrated the story to me, I could understand that he is from theatre and the movie had a different flavor to it with regards to humor and dialogues. I never felt that he was a new director and this was his debut film. He was very well prepared. He has been working on the script for almost a year and a half. It was nice working with him.
