What role do you essay in 'Life Partner'?
In the film, I play a Gujarati girl with modern values. She comes from a royal family and is handling her father's business. She is very well educated and an independent girl. The story continues when she meets this guy called Bhavesh.
What made you take up this film after 'Rock On' was a huge success at the box office? What attracted you to it?
The movie is Abbas Mustan's first production venture which is one of the reasons for me to take up 'Life Partner'. I have seen Rumi Jaffrey's films and they have been very funny. It is great to have a director like Rumiji for my first comedy film along with actors who are Kings of Comedy. The entire package was great.
How was it taking up a comedy film as doing comedy and getting the correct comic timing is not everyone's cup of tea?
Luckily, the tough job of timing and all of that was handled by Tushar and Fardeen. I and Genelia were most of the time just reacting to what these people were doing. After that we used to continue the scene. It wasn't tough. In fact we had fun performing and watching what we did later.
How was your experience working in a comedy film?
It was really fun. This is the first time I have worked in any of them. But the film was so light hearted and fun that I enjoyed all the scenes.
What are the qualities that you are looking for in your 'Life Partner'?
Oh God! I have a long list for that. But the person I actually fall in love with is the one I want to get married to.
