What is your role in 'Bunty Aur Babli'??

It is a small role. I play a cop whose only goal is to catch Bunty and Babli. No one has seen Bunty or Babli because they use a disguise where-ever they go, which makes it more difficult for me to catch them. They hail from a small town of UP and come to the city to give life to their dreams.

What is different about your character Dashrath compared to any other cop who wants to apprehend criminals?

There is nothing specifically different about my character but the film has been narrated differently. Dashrath Singh, the cop is very frustrated and irritated with this couple because of his inability to nab them on several occasions.

How was it working with a young director like Shaad Ali??

I have worked with young directors and artistes before also. He has a great aesthetic sense just like his father. He has the capacity to bring forth humor. His subtle sense style of doing it is what will attract the audience to theatres again and again.

What about your son??

It was nice working with him but we are professionals and acting is our part of our job. We used to be thorough professionals on the sets.

How much has he progressed as an actor since his debut??

Abhishek is progressing with each film. Nobody can be perfect and you have to improve yourselves with every film.

'Bunty Aur Babli' has great deal of flamboyance and everything has been conceived by Shaad Ali and Adi.

What is the USP of 'Bunty Aur Babli'??

The dialogues are very witty and the film is engrossing apart from being quick and snappy.

The lead pair of this film believes that stealing is the easiest way to make money. Don't you think that it will leave a wrong impression on the youth??

It is a movie and there is a vast difference between reel life and real life. If that was the case, people should also follow what was shown in K3G and Baghbaan as well.

Tell us about your quawwali with Aishwarya Rai.?

It is a surprise item.

What about the English song??

It was part of the promotion campaign. I am a character in this song who narrates the film.

What difference do you find between Abhishek Bachchan and you in your formative days??

I don't see much of a difference but I do believe that with regard to looks and physique he is better when compared to me.

What are your expectations from Abhishek?

I expect him to go ahead of me and I wish him the best.

According to Ram Gopal Varma, Abhishek is a better actor compared to you.
