Supposedly an adaptation of the French movie "The Idiot's Dinner", Bheja Fry comes as a welcome relief. Although the movie has some racy elements and mature subject matter it takes one back to the Hrishikesh Mukherjee era of simple comedies.
The story is a situational comedy with all characters playing their part to the hilt. Special kudos to Ranvir and Vinay who leave an impression on the viewer.
The comedy is definitely a different flavor than the slapstick efforts of David Dhawan and Kader Khan, coming through as more mature and believable too. I've watched it thrice already and wouldn't mind sitting through it once more :)
This is an amazing comic relief.. full with punches
and even suprising to know the bugset of the movie was 5lacs!
I hope there are sequels of bheja fry!
