As if "Miracle Worker" wasn't good enough.... Sanjay Leela Bhansali impresses for a fourth straight time, this time with amazing performances by both leads Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan

The Good: The Acting is absolutely phenomenal here. This is the greatest acting duo performance in the history of Bollywood. Rani and Big B show why they are the top names in Bollywood today. The Directing is astounding. Bhansali can be considered the best director in Bollywood today. The technical effects, the script the background score, everything is absolute perfection. The best scene in the film is the ending scene where Michelle meets her teacher in the asylum and tells him she passed. The communication and rhythm between Rani and Amitabh in this film is something not actor-actress combo in Bollywood history has ever ever ever achieved!

The Bad: If there is anything disappointing I can say about Black its this: Bhansali is an amazing director, and I felt it a bummer that some scenes in the movie were copied literally frame-for-frame from "Miracle Worker" I was hoping for a little more originality in scenes by such a great director. Nonetheless, impressive job.

Bottom Line: If you cry during Black, you are not alone. If you love this movie, you are not alone. If you love the performances, you are not alone, and If you feel this is the greatest film in Bollywoods history, you are not alone.... and that my friends is the whole point that Dr. Debraj Sahi adresses to Michelle McNally: "You are not alone"

What a wonderful film Sanjay made. I was touched and moved by the storyline and the performance by the lead stars. Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee strikes the chord with their roles of Dr sahay and deaf-blind-mute Michellie respectively. I like the scene of church, where Rani is honored with bachelor of arts certificate. her dialouge is truly mesmerising and brought tears from my eyes. Shernaaz Patel and Ayesha Kapur are outstanding, they deserve an award for their brilliant performance ,ditto to rani and amitabh. A brilliant effort from Sanjay Leela Bhansali
