This movie is so captivating and powerful. Pankaj Kapoor has produced a sterling performance with his portrayal of Pandit Chaturvedi the pot bellied high priest. The characters are so real that any body in India can relate to the situations in the movie.

The scene where the boy screams from outside the priest's home, for help was so powerful I had to fight back tears :)
