Some films completely defy logic. Questions flood your mind while watching them, like why did someone finance this, why did certain actors agree to be in it, did anyone actually read the script and if so, didn’t they notice it is more riddled with holes than a tea strainer? The convenient response that it is a leave your brains at home entertainer, doesn’t stick because Dhoom Dhadakka is far from entertaining and leaves you braindead.
There are no amusing gags, no commendable performances; it’s just a large plate of ham and sleaze. Yet another movie about a don, this time called Mungi Lal (Anupam Kher) in search of an heir to his business. Two hours and many imposters later, we are as clueless as to the identity of the heir in question. But on the way we have been subjected to over-the-top hamming, a man peeing on a wall in Bangkok and leaving his fly open while bashing up the baddies, we have seen Bobby Darling in a close up and Samir Dattani and Shaad Randhava in drag.
Writer Ashwini Dheer seems to be a rhyming pun specialist as we have endured in his other two recent ventures One, Two, Three and Krazzy 4. Sample this: Don Fursat Lala’s son Zac to father (Gulshan Grover), “Dad, main aapke liye bumb laga sakta hoon aur aap mere liye bum nahin hila sakte?” There goes another brain cell.
Director Shashi Ranjan (Dobara) has tried to handle 14 actors across this silly script, but the film does not do the director, actors or the writers any favours. This script was doomed from the start
ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT DHOOM DHADAKA IS "TERRIBLE'" . THIS FILM SHOWCASES ALL THE WORST ACTING BY THE ARTIST . TALENTED ACTORS LIKE SAMIR DATTANI , SHAAN RANDHWA AND AARTI CHHABBRIA IS PRESENTED IN SHODDY WAY . SHAMA SIKANDER OF "YEH MERI LIFE HAIN" FAME IS LAUNCHED IN A BAD WAY JUST LIKE MIMOH FOR DISASTROUS "JIMMY". SHE WAS TOPPED AS A BEST ACTRESS IN TELEVISION, BUT NOW SHE WILL BE ENLISTED AS WORST DEBUTANT. THERE IS NO MOMENT WHERE YOU CAN LAUGH EVEN FOR A SECOND ,INSTEAD IT WILL IRRITATE AND TORTURE YOU IN EXCESS . STORYLINE IS VERY WEAK IN COMPARE TO OTHER LOUSY COMEDY LIKE KRAZZY 4 ,WELCOME ETC. DIALOUGE CONTAINS CHEAP SEX JOKES WHICH MAKES YOU NOSTALGIC .
No doom In dhoom dadakka
