After reading all the reviews........I am astounded and shocked to see the mutual divide amongst people.........Many of the comments have slashed the film as patronising a certain sect of people!!!!!

This is a movie;Just a movie....why do people always see it as somethiing more and look at it with such crude dimensions.I appeal to all the people who are reading this to stop this.We are all indians and on a more superior level are all human beings.....Why do we fight with each other or separate people ....our very own brothers because of religion and caste?The movie has displayed with great effort;the sufferings of the ones affected by the riots.....The sufferings of human beings! not muslims not hindus but our fellow countrymates.Why do we demolish the very foundations of universal brotherhood with such comparisons........
The movie is very touching and well made......A movie based{ not identical} on happenings in our country to our countrymen.We must accept each other as human beings rather than man-made divisions to advance and succeed as a community

Be it parzania , wednesday , firaaq or any other movie... directors have done wht so called responsible media should have done... hats off to nandita das... but wait wht r we guys doing...watching movie appreciating the work, playing blame games and thats it... our responsibility to socitey is done.. For God sake wake and stop supporting gundas, morons, killers, terrorists irrespective of their faith ... they dont deserve our sympathy , support...they unfit to society... yet we take their sides for just they r of our faith.. we r doing sin by supporting this losers...lets unite to fight them...difficult to understand when an educated learned person support some gunda for just one reason he is of same faith even when we cant stand these guys...

A must watch film,very good film,every person who belives in humminity,love humens,love non violoence will only love this film.Great work nandita, proud of you, keep it up.

I will watch the movie on forthcomming sunday then will review it.........
But, i think, since Nandita is in lead roll in this movie so it would be beautyful on every grounds......

It's a great film which must be seen. It clearly shows how much poison is filled in our hearts. We may talk great things about india, like unity in diversity, but realistically is it so true? Must watch this movie. It is a time to remember and not forget that great injusices were done, we must fight for justice to happen. Every indian should watch this movie who believes in Human Values.
