This is an excelent peace of work by sameer combined with some great performance by the cast of movie salman is excelent in the movie. Its a movie that every Indian should watch and above all its great salute to our soldiers to whom this movie is dedicated

Must watch for all. Should be tax exempted. Excellent in all respects. Good treat for Diwali season for all movie buffs as well as for those who want to see something different. All performances are excellent. This is salman's & priety's finest works till date.

This one is a real good movie.Story of two spoilt brats who were good for nothing except going after girls!They are students of film academy and can't pass their exams.They are given the assignment of shooting a satisfactory film in order to pass.They hit upon the subject of 'why not to join the army' after talking to friends.In order to have some direction and guidance regarding their subject, they meet a defence journalist( Mohnish Behl), who gives them 3 letters which were written by armymen before they joined their final battle.They are given the task of delivering these to their families. And this way their journey and shooting begins.Their first letter is for Kuljeet Kaur(Preity Zinta), widow of Balkar Singh(Salman Khan).@nd one is for Squadron Leader Shergil(Sunny), brother of Liutenant Shergil(Bobby), and 3rd one for Naqvies, parents of another soldier played by Dino Morea. This significant journey, and meeting the families and other people changes them.This is very touching as it shows the families of defence personnel who are killed, their pride, their emotions and their strengths, their bondings as they deal with life as it moves on!Preity Zinta as Kuljeet is outstanding, Salman as Balkar Singh has done a commendable job.Sunny and Bobby have done pretty well.Vatsal Seth's eyes are very expressive and he has done well.Sohail though looks little older for a college student!Music is ok.'Mannata' song is outstanding!Cinematography and picturization are very good.And finally, Samir Karnik, Hats Off To You!
