It is a movie well directed and played. The character played by Naseerudin Shah was very touchy and justified.

The song 'Mere Kuch Saaman', shows capabilities of RD Barman to arrange passage to song. Gulzar's sence of poetry shows no binding of TUKBANDI.

Climax and end of the movie is marvelous.
