Seeing everyone's nice reviews.....i thought why not see this "feel good" movie...but when i was coming outta of theatre i felt like cheated. Why an indian movie can't be original...don't we have creative story writer.....there should be a limit for imitating a movie man.......not a single scene is original....and as far as dancing is concern .......you all should go watch 'Honey' starring Jessica Alba.....even dance moves are copied in a very B grade style....I mean if you are copying something you can still use your head atleast and give it a fresh feel.....what is the point in going by scene to scene.
For me this movie is just a medium for a father "Arvind K. Patel" producing a movie for her daughter "Gayatri patel" for her some love for dancing.
And what's the role of this damn story writer "Mr. Mauzzam Beg"....what he has done....just been watching "Honey" so that he can copy it well...what a waste man...go back to your school again and learn the art of story writing again.
For the "So called creative director Mr. Aarif Sheikh"...i've just one word....man for god sake stop directing from now on.
I also wanted to ask from Malaika arora khan who is all praise for Gayatri's dance moves....have you ever praised our indian classical dancers who are not so publicied....no na..then what's the point praising some NRI who gave you money to do so.
Last but not the least for our much leaned "Critics"...who have problems with most of our bollywood movies...."Sir atleast give a little appreciation to directors who make decent original movies" and not some crap imitation.
Thanks everyone for patient reading....i felt less cheated [:)] now.
the movie is good. overall good performance by gayatri patel. the main story runs along for a girl's quest to achieve something for the kids, listening to her dreams all the while.
The only drawback is the concept of this movie has been word to word copied from "Honey (2003) (starring Jessica Alba)", until the climax which has been modified to bits to bollywood style. with little mirchi masala, they tried to make something work in the movie with their brains!
the dance show made sense until the point where she and four other guys made show. oh well what happened to other kids? "Honey" brought this concept out so well, and kids outperformed the show which in this one gayatri supposedly does at the end. i thought from the movie, the kids were to be shown to world, how well they could perform and how well they danced!
The story makes sense but loses the essence with climax where things seem a bit muddled. may be the writer should have copied from start to end, just to make complete sense! oh also dialogues were copied too!
This film brought out a new concept for people who haven't seen "Honey" and gayatri performs well. overall, movie worth watching just for the sake of "Live your dreams!"
Scene to scene copy of hollywood movie 'Honey"
