'Let's Dance' is the story about Suhaani (Gayatri Patel), a dance teacher girl who gives direction in life to a group of street kids and trains them in dancing helping them to realize their dreams. She fancies her chances when she is noticed by a top music video director RJ (Aquib Afzal) who guides and helps her but has his own selfish motives. Her love interest is played by Ajay Choudhary who provides constant encouragement to her in her endeavour.
The musical is directed by National Award Winner Editor Aarif Sheikh. With 'Lets Dance' as his debut, Aarif Sheikh had done fairly a decent job but is let down by a weak script. What is missing is the need for better actors and more support from a better technical team. The film stars Gayatri Patel, Ajay Chaudhary, Aquib Afzal and produced by Arvind Patel, father of the lead Actress Gayatri. Since not being able to get the right launch pad, Arvind tried creating a platform showcasing Gayatri's talent through this movie. He tried to make a show reel depicting her talent which was successful but there isn't much to see in the film except for her, though she is good with her moves as a dancer.
The script reminds the audiences of 'Aaja Nachle' and have similarity in the plot about saving the dancing school and encouraging people develop their talent of dance and bring out their inner most talent brilliantly. The love story between Gayatri and Ajay doesn't appeal either. The dialogues are too weak at places and the lyrics are just incompatible with the script. Saroj Khan, Longinus and Papu Malu as the choreographer have done very well and they steal the show with the way the songs are choreographed. The actors Aquib Afzal and Ajay Choudhary look very amateur on screen. It is the kids along with Gayatri who showcases her dancing abilities brilliantly is the saving grace.
