This is powerhouse performance by each and everyone associated with Rock ON!
You cant stop yourself from getting totally into the movie.....
Arjun (Joe), he just is a true rockstar..with his hair grown, the rockstar shades and his guitar..
Purab(KD-Killer Drummer) is the funny bone who always cracks these Jokes and you will surely laugh with him...Psycho gujju..
Farhan(Aditya) in his debut role has done a great job...just seems like the songs were written for him to sing....
No one can stop adoring Luke(Rob), he plays with passion...very sweet role - he's good at settling the differences that would arise between Joe and Adi...
Prachi and Shahana have done justice to their roles....
The story has serious/emotional scenes very well woven in places whre the story requires it.There is not even one dull moment..
The re-union : You will get goose pimples and want to cry.."Tum Ho Toh" (lyrics are just amzing and so is the music)is fabulously written, sung very well, the final performance is a Killer..
You wil surely love this movie and at some point feel nostalgic....
It is a must watch...In fact I am going to watch it the 2nd time too...
After a very long time, comes a movie from a genre rarely (hardly) explored or experimented on. Rock On is brilliantly executed, and finely played out by all the four actors- and three ladies as well. Of course, Koel Purie was under- utilised. Arjun Rampal exceeded my expectations. His get-up and hair styling was very apt. He looked like a God, frankly ! But the biggest surprise was Farhan Akhtar himself. Although his voice is suitably raspy, yet not deep enough, I am most impressed by his performance, and renditions of the rock numbers. He is brilliant ! I am happy that his much-talked about efforts to learn how to sing ended up in such a superb film. Indian film makers and actors should learn some things from this film .
I completely enjoyed every moment. Prachi Desai in her city-girl makeover was good. Watch the film.
Lastly, DONT DOWNLOAD THE MUSIC, BUY THE CD. Its worth the money!
Its MAGIC all the way
