hi every body, I went n watched yestrday saawariya.... hrd lots of reviews about how its boring and slow ant stuff like that....... well every body have a rit 2 their point of views.... according to me.. i would say that 2 understand a film of this calibre u need 2 know poetry.... for me.. saawariya is a poetry in motion... but wit a diference. I would say that lik every poetry.... it too has its moments.. i enjoyed ranbir and sonam's performances.. and ranbir is already a star.. no qualms about it. screenplay could have been a little crisp n sleek. but overall it was like a magical experince. every body wants a happy ending but this film did show the othr side of love...... sacrifise.. n nothing is more beautiful than that. may be the hype was more n people expected it to b a complete masala movie . but i think saawariya is a visual treat n a big reprise from such masala movies..... i would say that all those who have loved n lost to go n watch a movie like this. love nandini

I watched Sawariya and found the film to be excellent. If you have not understood the film say you did not , dont say the film is bad. It was beautiful to watch, great sets, the acting by both the newcomers was good, Rani Mukherji did a fabulous job, Salman had a small but apt role. The music was awesome. It was as if a poem was being recited on screen, reminded me of a beautiful dreamy English peom. SLB movies are brilliant and a piece of art, definitely not for masses who take interest in crap/meaningless movies like OSO. Some retards wrote the following comments; I would like to address these low IQ commoners: Commoner’s Comment: The movie is dark with the film having blue shades throughout. My reply: Pay attention in the movie hall and keep your mouth shut when the movie is playing. If you had watched the story without yapping with your friends you could have noticed that this is a story of 2 characters that meet only during night hours, there is not a single shot in the movie which has day time in it. Obviously the movie has blue shade throughout. It still looked beautiful. Commoner’s Comment: There were too many songs. My Reply: You are a hypocrite. The music review of Sawariya is great, so what problem do you have sitting there and listening to melodious songs. I am sure you wont have any problem listening to crap lyrics like dard-e-disco (you really have a bad ear and taste). Commoner’s Comment: The story is boring. My Reply: My dear friend, what was in the story that you did not like?? This story was adapted from Fyodor Dostoevsky-White Nights, a highly acclaimed story, who are you to give bad reviews about it. First make an effort to read it. OSO is about punar janam, and people still loving the movie, are you out of ur mind. Conclusion: Keep an open mind, all movies need not be the same with a hero and his silly heroine dancing away to senseless songs, this movie is different and may not appeal to all but it is definitely not a bad film......kudos to SLB ...he is a genius.

I went and watched the movie last night in New Zealand. it really not that great. tey hype is more tan the movie. me and my friends were thinking that sonam's caracter sakina is mental and cofused. Anyways overall, ranbir is hot and sonam is pretty and good chemistry. But i dont really the storyline's that great.

This movie is one of the worst and the most boring movie that i have seen in years. The acting was good but the movie was going no were. I knew i should have not listened to my wife when she said that this movie will be better than om shanti om. What really makes me mad is that i actually paid to watch this garbage. I should have stayed at home and watched Ram Gopal's AAg.

Congratulations Sanjay. You have created a genre in the India cinema. Please do not be disappointed by the reviews. I am hopeful your producers have deep enough pcokets to augur their launch with this masterpiece. (By the way I read in Washington Post that it was global no. 1 yesterday) Needless to say it is a flawless movie. It is scary how can a director have such an impeccable, vivid and varied visulisation power. It is super-human.The acting by even a single act or no-act junior artist is amazing (quiet like Omkara). The lead pair is amazing in the way they have performed. Ranbir if put in a different situation and direction may have appeared cliched. It is amazing how Sanjay could make him gel with the mileu. Sonam speaks with her eyes, actions, attire- truly a class act. Even Zohra Sehgal is 100 times better than her Cheeni Kum act. Conragtulations again Sanjay. Infact it was my benchmark on how well the actors performed in Saawaria. Dear Anil Kapoor/ Rishi & Neetu, your children have greater potential than you all put together. Please advice them to take only good projects such as these. Music was much better than its promos. Gelled well with the story and situations. It is first time an Eid situation elicited joy for me. A visual treat. Do not listen to the critics who say the song should not have been there. If Muslim part of the population is shown in such positve light it will do a great bit for the national integration. You may not have realised, but that is something it did for me. Sets of course even the gravest crtique had good things to say about. You needed a wonderland and ditto it was. I was thinking, is it Vienna or Venice or Istanbul or Mumbai or Amsterdam or Alice’s wonderland. I hope God gives courage to the producers to back such landmarks. I know you will always do your mind.
