London, Feb 25 (ANI): James McAvoy has admitted that he wasn't a hit with girls when he was a teenager.
Speaking at a US chat show to host Jay Leno, the 28-year-old Scot revealed that he wasn't sexy when he was in school and could only get 'the stragglers.'
He further said that even being in a band didn't boost his pulling power.
McAvoy, who was No1 on the Razz hotlist and achieved critical acclaim in the movie 'The Last King Of Scotland,' said he didn't always have sex appeal.
"It made my bandmates very popular with the girls. I was kind of the third member of the triumvirate," The Daily Record.
"I was never as cool or hip or sexy as those guys, so I took the stragglers. When I say took the stragglers, I mean took them home," he added. (ANI)
