The Producers' Council election results are finally out with Rama Narayanan and team having been declared the winners.
While Rama Narayanan garnered about 394 votes and retained the president post, his rival Panchu Arunachalam polled just 138 votes.
The vice-president posts have been bagged by Anbalaya Prabakaran and S.A. Chandrasekar polling about 340 and 313 votes respectively. The two secretaries are Sivasakthi Pandian and K. Muralidharan.
Kaja Moihdeen is the treasurer. The details of the vote polled by the rival group are: A.M. Rathnam (vice-president; 197), Babu Ganesh (vice-president; 168), Keyar (secretary; 219), Radhika Sarath Kumar (secretary; 222) and Radha Krishnan (treasurer; 183).
