Director Rajkumar Gupta and actor Rajiv Khandelwal have been earning high praise following the release of the film Aamir. Critics have been bowled over by this movie and so has the ordinary man. Their band of admirers seem to be growing with every passing day.
The latest to join the bandwagon is none other than the Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dixit. She loved the movie so much that she invited the director and the actor to her home in the capital. As the film's DVD was being launched in the capital over the weekend, both Rajiv and Gupta were there in the city. And so when Ms Dixit issued the invite, it was there turn to be completely bowled over. The chief minister further charmed her way into their hearts when she discussed the film with them. She not only remembered the film, scene by scene, but also had some of the dialogues down pat as well. She had words of praise for Gupta for the realistic manner in which he portrayed Mumbai and the communal feelings that still exist among most of us. And of course, leading man Rajiv's acting too came in for a lot of praise. If this is not an official endorsement, then what is.
