London, July 27 (IANS) Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood's Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova has tried to clear her name, saying she is not a 'slut'.

The 20-year-old bar girl insists that she is truly in love with the 61-year-old rocker, mirror.co.uk reports.

Ekaterina said: 'They're calling me a Russian slut but if that's the case I'd be with a rich businessman, not Ronnie. I'm not a prostitute and I've never worked in an escort bar. We're in love, we're completely in love.'

Wood left his wife Jo, with whom he was married for 23 years to be with Ekaterina. He is now seeking treatment for alcohol and drug addiction at a rehab centre. Jo has left Britain and doesn't want to see Wood again.

An inside source said: 'Part of Ronnie's programme is to meet his family so they can all go through counselling. But Jo can't face it at the moment. She wants to see a marked difference before they even start talking.'
