Salman Khan is very kicked about his new film Veer, which has been scripted by him. Anil Sharma was the director that he had chosen for his film. But in between, there were rumours of Sharma using the casting couch to test aspiring actresses for the film, one of who had been sent by Salman himself.
It was reported that Salman was very angry at the incident and had dropped Sharma from the film. The director, had of course, defended himself in print and denied any of the charges leveled at him. But now it seems that the picture is clear and Sharma is all set to direct the movie. And the person he owes this to is none other than Katrina Kaif. The lady, who plays a dominant role in Salman's life, seemed to have had the final say. She is believed to have persuaded her boyfriend to retain Sharma, as she felt that he would be able to do justice to the film. So, thanks to Katrina's good offices she has worked with him in Apne, Sharma finds himself back in film. The film is a period movie set in 1880. Besides Salman, the film will also star veteran Mithun Chakraborty. The film is not just about high voltage action but will also have certain light moments as well. The intention being to entertain, says Salman.
