Subhash Ghai's salman Khan starrer Yuvvraj has been at the centre of controversy for a lot of reasons. Previously one heard a lot about Salman's antics all through the film's shooting, often delaying it or not turning up at all. Now there's another controversy surrounding the film. It appears that the world rights of the movie, which have been with Eros International, have been sold to Shree Ashtavinayak.
The world rights of the movie were originally held by Eros International. The first teasers and promos aired also carried the Eros name and logo on it. But it seems that something has changed and the world rights of the film have now been transferred to Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision for a reported sum of Rs 40 crore. It is still not clear, as to what transpired between Eros and Ghai which led to this split. In fact, there are all kinds of rumours doing the rounds. One of them goes that Salman is the one who persuaded Ghai to take this step. It seems that the actor is not on good terms with Eros and refused to take part in any promotions for the film. It is also believed that post his fight with Shah Rukh Khan, the actor has been disassociating himself with anybody who is close to SRK. Eros shares a very good relationship with SRK and hence this move. Also, it seems that the actor and the company had some differences during Partner. Hence, the buzz that Salman forced Ghai's hand is getting stronger and stronger. Yuvvraj also stars Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif.
