There have been reports doing the rounds that all is not well between erstwhile good friends and colleagues, Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah. The duo has worked in quite a few films together but now there may soon be a parting of ways.

The first indication of this was the absence of Shah and his wife Shefali at Akshay's Diwali bash. The actor hosted a lavish party which saw many Bollywood stars turn up like Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan, among others, Shah and his family is believed to have left for Goa, just a day before the party. The invites had been sent put more than a week in advance. It seems that this successful jodi had some issues during the release of Singh Is Kinng over the publicity designs and some accounting problems as well. And now that Vipul is in Goa, he may well be meeting up with Ajay Devgan and his family who are also on holiday there. It is believed that Devgan and Shah hit it off very well during the shoot of London Dreams. Salman, the other hero in the film, too had bonded very well with them. In fact, neither Salman nor Ajay are believed to be overly fond of Akshay. By the way, even though Salman was invited to the bash by Akki, he chose not to attend, even though his brother did. The other two Khans, Aamir and Shah Rukh too did not make it to the bash. While Aamir left for the US on the night of the party, SRK chose to stay away, even though he was back from Dubai on Tuesday sometime.
