Actor Ajay Devgan cannot stop beaming. Following the fantastic opening of Golmaal Returns, the actor has reason enough to smile. It gives him his first hit of the year. He has had quite a few releases this year, beginning with his own directorial venture, all of which failed to ignite the box office.

Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns has done what all those films, including Sunday, Halla Bol and Cash could not do for Devgan. But the actor is not taking any solo credit for the film's success. Everybody who is part of the film is responsible for its success, is what he maintains. That may be Devgan's take. But actor Arshad Warsi has another take altogether. He is complaining of being short changed. The actor feels that his role has been chopped and that he would never work again with Shetty. Well, for all those who have seen the film, Arshad's performance was quite disappointing. But if one goes by what Devgan says, which is that from the script to the release, the film is exactly the way it was narrated to them. Anyway Devgan has dismissed all of this as part of the film's promotion. But Shetty was quick to react to Warsi's allegation and promptly announced another film, but this time without him. He was quick to declare that he would never work with the actor again. Well for Arshad's sake, we hope it is all about publicity and promotion, because if truth be known, the actor has very little to his credit besides the Munnabhai series. Back to Devgan: the actor is currently busy with his film London Dreams where Salman Khan is one of his co stars. The last time the two worked together was for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. And if reports are to be believed, then the two actors have been bonding extremely well. It has been unkindly said that Shah Rukh Khan is the reason behind their bonding.
