With the Producers’ Body in Bollywood deciding stop the release of new films in multiplexes from April 3 onwards, the actors have also pledged their allegiance to the producers.
Top stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and the likes have sent a letter to the producers’ body that they will support them and not the multiplex owners in this issue.
It is worth mentioning here that it is not a surprise considering the fact that most of the actors have their own production houses.
The rift between the producers and the multiplex owners is stemmed from the profit sharing issues.
