Post the debacle of his debut film KHEL, Ajay Jadeja didn't sign a single film and was almost written off as far as Bollywood scheme of things go.Six years have passed by since the release of KHEL and now Jadeja would be making a comeback on the silver screen with PAL PAL DIL KE SAATH. Surprise factor here is Mahie Gill (of DEV D and GULAAL fame) who was supposed to make her Bollywood debut with Ajay Jadeja in this film. She was then known as Rimpy Gill. Chabi is the other leading heroine of PAL PAL DIL KE SAATH which is a Sukra Arts film that has been written and directed by V Krishna Kumar.
Incidentally the film was launched around the same time as Jadeja's debut film KHEL but never managed to reach the finishing line. Now seven years after it was announced, the film is ready for a release soon, courtesy producers v/s multiplexes strike that has left slots open at multiplexes.
Moreover Vinod Kambli, another ex-test cricketer, is also a part of the film's star cast and plays a pivotal role in the film. In fact the makers of the film are selling PAL PAL DIL KE SAATH as a 'first time ever combo of two cricketer friends sharing space on silver screen' and a few years back had flooded the TV channels with the promos featuring the two cricketers. For the starters, this is not the first time that Kambli is facing the camera since he has earlier also starred in Sanjay Dutt - Sunil Shetty starrer ANNARTH [2002].
Well, with Ajay Jadeja and Vinod Kambli coming together with 'apni' Paro, it has to be seen how PAL PAL DIL KE SAATH manages to make any impression whatsoever at the box office.
