Elections are in the air and as usual, this time too our big and small screen celebs have something or the other to say! Sreya Basu talks to some biggies from films about their take on the 15th Lok Sabha polls and votingWithout going into the debate-whether my vote will make a difference or not, I feel every Indian should vote...not for politicians but for themselves. I remember, after casting my first vote, I really felt that I have become an adult. Go and vote, but don't expect any larger-than-life changes overnight.
Voting is equivalent to being a responsible citizen. Those who, instead of voting, sit at home and criticize the government, should understand that the situation is so because of their indifference. So go out and vote guys...and be proud of the black dot on your index finger.
Voting is our Constitutional right and we must exercise it. If we are shouting for 'change', we must also do our bit. Despite having tight schedules, even today I make sure to vote. So, instead of chilling out on voting days, today's youths must cast their vote.
I have immense faith in young Indians...only they can bring a difference to the political system. And the first step is to vote. I understand why people now-a-days are apathetic towards voting. But we must not give up hope...apna karm toh karna hi parega.
Rakhi Sawant:
Our votes are important...very important. Or else, why should politicians, before every election, come to our doors to beg for vote? See, we have the power and can't afford to let others misuse it. If I don't vote myself, my vote will be rigged. So, instead of letting others cast your vote for their desired candidate, its better that you vote for your favourite.
