Bollywood hunk Hurman Baweja is back in news. And this time around the actor is not in the headlines for any Big Banner commercial potboiler but instead for a short documentary on global warming by the name 'Echo of Eco' which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival recently for select guests and invitees.Directed by Award winning director Pan Nalin, 'Echo of Eco' is one of the thirty films backed by United Nations Patronage for the Visual project. It is a short film to save the environment where Hurman Baweja plays the lead.
A source said, "Pan had liked Hurman's performance in VICTORY and that's why he chose him to play the lead in it. Nalin and Baweja had several sittings for Hurman to get familiar with his role."
Hurman is also highly obliged to be its part. "I'm honoured to be a part of a film like this that's supported by the UN and has Pan Nalin directing it. At the same time, the film is very challenging. That's what prompted me to be a part of this film. These films give a satisfaction that is very creatively gratifying," says Hurman.
