Sagarika Ghatge, the centre forward 'Preety Sabharwal' of CHAK DE! INDIA, is going places, literally. As is known to most, Sagarika has bagged an important project, Apoorva Lakhia's MISSION ISTANBUL.Recounting how the plum role of CHAK DE! INDIA fell into her lap, Sagarika disclosed that after completing her education from Bombay's H R College, she had planned to go for acting as a career and was going to get her portfolio designed. But when she heard about the urgent requirement for CHAK DE! INDIA, she could just dispatch a few personal close ups. Luckily she got a call for auditioning (something new for her) and the rest, as they say is history.
While on Sagarika's next project, MISSION ISTANBUL, it is believed that she is essaying the role of a CIA agent in the Viveik Oberoi starrer.
