Esha Deol has her priorities right. Her mother is her priority. And the actress has opted out of Mahesh Bhatt's Jannat so that she has time to hone her dancing skills for her mother's film,

For Esha, mother Hema Malini is top priority, and if it means ditching other producers, then so be it. Although Esha does not begin shooting for Hema's film before December, she needs time to work on her dancing skills since the film is heavily into dance. Even the shooting schedule for Jannat is set for November, in South Africa. Kunal Deshmukh, the director of Jannat, has confirmed that Esha is not doing his film as she has to shoot for her mother's movie. He does admit that it is a major loss for him and he is yet to find a proper replacement for her. He said that he was still meeting people for the role and hopes that he will have the cast in place soon. Deshmukh's film is about cricket and match-fixing. He has decided to shoot the film in South Africa instead of England. Emraan plays a bookie in the film.
