Yogi, the film introducing Ameer as the hero, has changed the characterization of the heroine.
The film had a unique storyline in which the hero strikes a friendship with a 14-year old girl. The character is very strong and important and is featured along the length of the movie.
Since the crew has not been able to find a suitable girl to play the role, director Subramaniam Siva has changed the story and the characterization of the female lead.
Madhumita of Kudaikkul Mazhai fame was approached to act as the heroine of Yogi. Since she is busy doing a movie for S Pictures Arai en 305il Kadavul the search is still on for a new face.
Shooting for Yogi will commence from October 15th.
