Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, the once close buddies, are finally coming together again. Producer Vipul Shah has had a tough time convincing them to work together in his film 'Singh is King.'
The once close buddies, who have given hit films like Hera Pheri and Dhadkan, are believed to have had a huge fight during the dubbing for Phir Hera Pheri and apparently swore never to work with each other. Suniel Shetty even went public with his reservations about working with Akshay. Reportedly, the problems arise because of Akshay's penchant for sniping off his co-stars role. So it required a mammoth effort by Vipul Shah to get the two of them to work together. Even though Akshay has the lead role, Suniel has a prominent role to play in the film as well. It took a tremendous amount of convincing before the two agreed to work together. According to Vipul, he was very keen to have both Akshay and Suniel in his film even though he was aware of the bitter feud that existed between the two. So after discussing the script with Anees Bazmi, who is directing the film, they decided to cast the two actors in the movie. He admits that it was quite a task getting them to agree but he managed to allay Suniel's fears and assured him that nothing would go wrong with this movie. The actors are now back to sharing cordial relations.
