Tamil film industry is definitely marching on a very healthy path these days especially with corporates entering the field in various capacities from film production to distribution.

Things are being run in a very professional manner and deadlines are met well within time. The companies like Adlabs, Pyramid Sai Mira, Moserbaer etc have taken the industry by storm. Their willingness to try out new directors, actors and screenplay had triggered an explosion of sorts of talents. Besides that multiplex audience has also enabled the film makers to try out good quality, family oriented themes.

The trend of screenplay being the hero of a film has set in which facilitates the production of movies of superior caliber. This has been amply proved by the recent stills of ‘Mayilu’, a film under production by Prakash Raj for Duet Films in collaboration with Moserbaer.

The stills appear to be totally off-commercial and with less known cast. If this film gets a positive response from the audience, it would only reiterate the beneficial inclination of Kollywood which will be great news for true movie buffs.
