Washington, Oct 6 (ANI): Actor Johnny Depp has vowed that he will never raise his child in the U.S., because he finds the country 'a truly frightening place'.
Despite the fact that the Hollywood icon himself grew in America, he is very much sure that he would never return to his home country with his children.
"I'm not particularly optimistic about society. We're in an age where everything has gone too far. It's an ugly world," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling the New York Post.
The actor admitted that he was really scared about raising her daughter in the country.
"I'm truly frightened of America in terms of raising my daughter here. I don't believe that is an option at all," he said.
'The Pirates Of The Caribbean' star, 44, currently lives in northern France with his partner, actress-model Vanessa Paradis, and two children Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5. (ANI)
