The flick was followed by 'The Heartbreak Kid' at the second spot with 14 million dollars, according to figures by Exhibitor Relations.

'The Kingdom' (9.3 million dollars) and Resident Evil: Extinction (4.3 million dollars) secured third and fourth places respectively, reports E! Online.

'The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising' rounded off the top five, coming in at the fifth spot with 3.7 million dollars.
