Washington, Oct 9 (ANI): Actress Michelle Pfeiffer was stunned when she learnt that director Matthew Vaughn's favourite film is Grease2, for she believes that the film was one of the most embarrassing films of her career.

Pfeiffer was shocked to learn that Vaughn cast her in Stardust based upon her performance in 'Grease2'.

Speaking at a British talk show, the 49-year-old actress revealed that she couldn't believe that the 1982 film is the director's favourite film.

"I thought he was pulling my leg. He was interviewing me for Esquire (magazine) and he goes, 'Guess what my favourite movie of yours is?' And I jokingly said, 'Grease 2!' And he was like, 'Yeah!' And I'm like, 'Seriously," Contactmusic quoted Pfeiffer, as saying.

"And it was my work in that movie that made him want to work with me," she added. (ANI)
