Actor Rishi Kapoor is a bundle of nerves about the forthcoming release of his son Ranbir's film, Saawariya. The actor will not be attending the premiere as he is shooting in Himachal. His son thinks it is a blessing in disguise as he would have got nervous just watching his father.
While Rishi may not be able to attend the premiere, he is making sure that he visits all the gurdwaras and temples in and around Himachal, seeking blessings for his son. At one particular temple, the priest gave Rishi a chunni for his son, as a mark of the blessings of the Goddess. Rishi, who has been there, knows the pressures and challenges that lie ahead of a debutant actor. It makes no difference if you are directed by Raj Kapoor or Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Rishi himself made his debut with Bobby some 36 years ago. Besides visiting temples seeking blessings, the actor is also shooting for the film Hadd Behadd, where he plays himself. This is something which only Dharmendra (Guddi) and Bobby Deol (Nanhe Jaisalmer) have done before this. The film is a social comedy and Rishi is tickled pink about playing himself. The film is directed by theatre personality Ranjit Kapoor, who wrote films like Mangal Pandey, and Bandit Queen. This is first venture.
