It is official now- Asin is not going to star with Simbu in one of his new films, 'Kettavan'.

Simbu, who unfortunately is known more for his troubles with Nayantara, is now starring in two films almost simultaneously. 'Kettavan' is one of them. This one has a music channel video jockey, Lekha Washington as the heroine.

A few days ago, rumors began that he wasn't that pleased with her performance and was giving serious thoughts about bringing in a replacement. Rumors added that he had Asin in mind, the actress with whom he was going to work with in a film named 'A/C D/C'. The film got shelved for some reasons.

But the unit members of 'Kettavan' have confirmed that the hero and film's director have no plan to bring in a replacement. "Lekha Washington is a good actress and we have completed more than 40% of the film's shooting. It wouldn't be possible to bring in a new heroine at this stage and reshoot the entire 40% again," they say.
