Zee TV, India's largest media and entertainment conglomerate proudly announces the winner of the largest musical reality show, Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. In an intense, nerve-racking finish, that involved four continents, six countries and lakhs of entries, ANEEK DHAR was voted The Winner by crores of viewers from across the globe over the other two equally accomplished opponents.

Commenting on the culmination of what was popularly known as 'Sangeet Ka Pratham Vishwayudh', Punit Goenka, Business Head, Zee TV, said, "Challenge 2007 redefined reality programming. The most popular show across the Hindi GEC has catapulted this genre to a new altitude. The mega finale took place at the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai on October 13th, 2007 where the three finalists, Raja Hasan, Amanat Ali and Aneek Dhar performed live with their respective mentors Vishal-Shekhar, Ismail Darbar and Himesh Reshamiya before a throbbing audience of over 12,000. The surprise element of the evening was Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan's dazzling performance for their forthcoming block-buster BHOOL BHOOLAIYA that created frenzy in the spectators. The atmosphere was electrifying with the crowd rooting for their favorite contestant and the judges encouraging them to sing their best.

Zee TV is proud that Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 discoveries have become brands by themselves and are beyond the borders of a talent competition. Most of them have already received offers and have started working for legendary music composers and film directors like Anand Raj Anand, Sanjay Gupta, Sajid Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Pritam, Vishal-Shekhar, Bappi Lahiri, to name a few, even before the finale.
