After Mammootty, it is now Kalabhavan Mani who will be seen in a khaki uniform. He has signed a new film titled Kerala Police by filmmaker Chandrashekharan. The movie will also star Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shammi Thilakan, Bijukuttan and others. Kailas Menon helms the music for the numbers penned by Girish Puthencherry.
Malayalam actors have played the roles of cops and such movies have been well-received by audiences. This year, we had Khaki starring Prithviraj and Mukesh in the role of cops and Time starring Suresh Gopi in the role of a police officer. Mammootty will be seen in the role of a cop for the 25th time in the upcoming film directed by Renji Panicker.
