With the success of Ammuvaaghiya Naan, director-cum-actor Parthiban will soon wield the megaphone after a long gap. Director Padmamagan’s Ammuvagiya Naan received rave reviews not only acting but for the screenplay as well.
Readers may be aware that Parthiban confined himself to acting after a few of his projects bombed at the box office.
But Ammuvagiya Naan seems to have rekindled the interest to revive his shelved project, Vithagan. By the way, Vijayakanth initially named his film Arasangam as Vithagan, but had to go back on that when he found that Parthiban had already registered it.
Parthiban, according to Kollywood sources, is camped at Mumbai, looking for suitable heroine. When the actor zeroes in on the one that he considers suitable that mark the beginning of Vithagan.
