Now that Kareena is in the news because of her relationship with Saif, her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapur is generating interest with following his growing rapport with Ameesha Patel. The two, Shahid and Ameesha were spotted at the coffee shop of a suburban five-star hotel. Though they came separately, but were together for more than two hours, chatting away like old friends, which they are not.

The new dosti between Ameesha and Shahid is interesting only because Ameesha and Kareena are sworn enemies. The two actresses have even gone on print and made nasty, snide comments about each other over the years. Kareena has openly spoken about missing out on working with Hrithik in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and has called Ameesha a bad actress. She has also made digs at Ameesha's dressing style. It is rumoured that Ameesha rejected two projects opposite Shahid after he started dating Kareena. However, now matters seem to have taken a different turn with the actress spending quality time with Shahid. But is Shahid trying to send Kareena a signal or what? Meanwhile, Shahid and Kareena, who were supposed to be making an appearance on the TV show Nach Baliye, arrived late on the sets. Their vans were parked far away from each other. They hardly interacted with each other. While Kareena passed the time listening to music, Shahid was seen chatting with the spot boys and technicians.
