Kareena, an erstwhile student of Saroj Khan, was rather intimidated by the choreographer, who has the reputation of being a hard taskmaster on the sets. When the ace choreographer Saroj Khan demonstrated a dance step from the hit number Yeh Ishq from Jab We Met to Kareena Kapoor in Manali. Kareena attentively observed Saroj ji both with an air of confidence and trepidation.
The song, eventually turned out really well. Shreya Ghoshal has rendered the number and would go down as one atypical number from her. Yeh Ishq was shot in the Himalayas and the local flavour of the mountains was imbibed in the costumes and the movements for the song.
