Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi's younger daughter Srija eloped with her boyfriend of 4 years. She was in love with Sirish Bharadwaj, an engineering graduate.

She had opposition to her love affair from her actor brother and her parents as well. Talking to the popular news channel NDTV, 19 year old Srija who was in love with 22 year old Sirish, said,

" I had to escape from my house and come to the the Arya Samaj temple. We are majors and we need the support of the media and the police as we expect threats from our parents." Sirish's father is a lawyer and his parents too were not in favor of the alliance.

Both Sirish and Srija had been in touch with NDTV for the past 2 years, to help them get married. This act of Srija has come as shock to Chiranjeevi's household, sources close to the actor revealed. Seldom did he realize that his life could take such a filmy turn.
